Tony Carson posted an exquisite article about Google Wave, that I just have to share with you.
In his article, he points out that the true potential in Google Wave lies in the fact that it allows collaboration to an unprecedent degree even between people that are widely geographically separated. While I think that he may be a bit overoptimistic about broadband penetration (a large number of people still have no broadband access), I agree that Wave will enable people to build on each others thoughts more quickly and easily, allowing people from Ghana, Serbia and Venezuela to co-operate on a project together in a comfortable way.
In its own way, I think Google Way has the potential to further erase national boundaries.
